The USQ DeC Media Services department has maintained an incredible archive of audio and video material since the early 1970s.

Staff of DeC Media Services have recorded many concerts, recitals and theatre performances for the Performance Centre. We are delighted to present a selection of DDIAE/USQ Performance Centre Plays.

More recently a series of conversations have been recorded with individuals who have had a significant impact on the University's development. Take a moment to view footage of these conversations with:

  • Paul McNally
  • David Orton
  • Joan Powell
  • Adrian Allen and Russel Campbell
  • Ju-Raku-En (Japanese Gardens footage)
  • Davina Smith and Craig Burgess
  • Nita Temmerman
  • Jim Taylor
  • Peter Albion.

Recently restored audio material has also been added. The Darling Downs Trio (Wendy and Andrew Lorenz and Gary Williams) produced a vinyl record in 1989.  We have the masters and have included three performances.

Many hours of open-reel tape were recorded in the very early days of the University, and some of the most significant audio histories are now available for webstreaming or download.
