USQ Springfield Campus: 40 films in 40 nights
Australian stars of the silver screen came to life at USQ Springfield during May and June as the campus celebrated USQ’s 40th anniversary with 40 Films in 40 Nights.
The free event, open to the Greater Springfield community, celebrated 40 years of Australian cinema.
The film festival coincided with the launch of USQ Springfield‘s new Bachelor of Applied Media (BAM), the first degree of its kind in Queensland.
Students enrolled in the BAM were involved in all aspects of the event, from sourcing films from the Australian Film and Sound Archive, to providing commentary prior to each screening.
