Competition rules

1. Only photos entries that have an image of a real person/s with a genuine USQ Phil the Phoenix mascot will be eligible to win prizes.
     
2. All photos must only contain the entrant’s image and not the image of another person. If the photo contains the image of a person other than the entrant then a separate model release form (DOC 27 kb) will need to be completed by all parties present in the photo and faxed to USQ on +61 7 4631 1404 be to eligible to win prizes. Please include the Flickr photo reference number on the form.
      
3. Only photos with the Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 license are eligible to win prizes. This can easily be added under 'Additional Information' next to each photograph.
      
4. By entering this competition you acknowledge that the photo entered is your original work created solely by you and no other person has any right or interest in the photo.
       
5. All entrants acknowledge and understand that any photo entry may be displayed on the University of Southern Queensland website, in any USQ publications and/or promotional material at any time.
       
6. Photos must be loaded to this group www.flickr.com/groups/usqphil/
       
7. Photos must be tagged usqphil in Flickr.
       
8. Photos should have a short description of what the photo shows.
       
9. Any individual photo can only be a monthly winner once. The grand prize winner will be judged from one of the ten monthly winners.
      
10. Any photo can be removed and the group member blocked by the Group Administrators for any photo deemed inappropriate or ineligible. No correspondence will be entered into.
       
11. The University of Southern Queensland reserves the right to suspend or cancel this competition at any time. No correspondence will be entered into.
        
12. Limitation of Liability notice. By participating, you agree to release and discharge USQ and its employees and officers, from any claims, losses, and damages arising out of your participation in this Competition or any Competition-related activities and the acceptance and use, misuse, or possession of any prize awarded hereunder. USQ assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorised access to Competition entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. USQ is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to your or any other persons' computers related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Competition.
