DeCCast - USQ video memories

E Block, circa 1985
Kym Adams shows off the Media Services Video Edit Suite, circa 1986.
DeC Media Services commenced recording to professional videotape formats in 1982, and since that time has produced many hours of recordings covering a myriad of topics including faculty promotional material, Arts theatre concerts and performances, educational videos, open days and commercial television advertising for USQ.

Now in this 40th year, it is time to replay this material that has historical (and hysterical) significance to look back at the achievements, events and people who made up the USQ community.

DeCCast episodes

Each week an episode of DeCCast will be loaded onto the USQ server, where you will be able to view the video, streamed to your computer. A program guide will be included at the beginning of each video to detail the content of each DeCCast.

You can learn more about what DeCCast exactly is, why and how often it is being broadcast and what you can expect to see.

To view these videos, you will need a broadband internet connection and either Windows Media Player 9 or Windows Media Player 9 for Macintosh depending on your operating systems.

If you own a video iPod, you can subscribe to DeCCast and receive notification of new episodes to download. Subject to copyright conditions, some episodes may not be available for DeCCast podcasting.
