Computing requirements

USQ offers comprehensive information for students in relation to computer hardware and software requirements.

Study materials and textbooks

Students studying by external mode receive their study package via courier. Study packages are dispatched progressively from six weeks before each semester commences. Further information about accessing study materials is available for off-campus students.

Off-campus Library services

The off-campus Library service is available to externally enrolled students who live outside a 50 kilometre radius from Toowoomba.

Assessment

Assessment will depend on which course you are studying. Normally, each course will require you to submit several assignments or reports by scheduled due dates. Completed assignments are returned to you with a grade and helpful comments to further assist your learning.

Off-campus students may also need to sit for examinations. USQ organises exam centres all over Australia and overseas.

USQ offers a range of distance education support services and resources aimed specifically at meeting the needs of those studying off-campus.
