Getting to Toowoomba
Plane
Brisbane airport is the closest commercial airport to Toowoomba. Toowoomba is approximately 150km from the airport, and 130km from the Brisbane CBD.
Skytrans offers flights from the Brisbane domestic airport to Toowoomba for between $87.00 and $125.00 each way (bookings 1300 759 872).
Car
Travelling time from the Brisbane CBD is about one and a half hours (depending on traffic), and from the airport you need to allow two hours.

From the airport
- travelling down airport drive, merge left on the Gateway Motorway exit.
- continue for about 22 km until you merge right on the Logan Motorway. The Logan Motorway continues for about 30km and then becomes the Ipswich Motorway exit.
- after about 7km, you will see the Warrego Highway exit (signed to Toowoomba) bearing off to the left. Toowoomba is another 95km with dual lanes all the way.
From Brisbane CBD
- travel down Coronation Drive. (This will take you through the western suburbs of Toowong and Indooroopilly.)
- turn right at the Toowong Towers, into Moggill Road.
- after approximately 5km, turn left on the Western Freeway.
- travel for 8.5 km until you reach the Ipswich Motorway exit, on your right.
- travel 12 km down the Ipswich Motorway and merge left on the Warrego Highway exit. Toowoomba is another 95km with dual lanes all the way.
Car pooling from Brisbane

Bus
The main transport provider between Brisbane and Toowoomba is Greyhound Australia. A fare from the Brisbane Domestic Airport to Toowoomba (one way) costs approximately $35.00. You will arrive at Neil Street Transit Centre in Toowoomba, from which it is a short taxi ride to most accommodation.
The Airport Flyer is a bus service that you can book to connect with your incoming and outgoing flight. It is a door-to-door service that will shuttle you between the Brisbane airport and your accommodation at a cost of approximately $76.00 one way, and $137.00 return.
