What we are doing

USQ is committed to environmental sustainability and minimising the adverse impact of its activities on the environment. Under the leadership of the USQ Environment and Sustainability Committee, in a collaborative effort with all USQ staff, we are committed to becoming carbon neutral by 2020.

By making a few small changes to our everyday work habits you can help reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to a greener campus.  A few initiatives currently being implemented by USQ include:

• adopting green purchasing methods
• improving recycling and waste management
• improving energy management
• introducing green transport initiatives
• improving water conservation
• setting up an environmental office
• setting up an environmental society.
