What to bring

What is supplied?

The following items are supplied in each room at the Colleges:

bed
mattress
mattress cover
pillow
pillow case
two sheets
two blankets
one bedspread
heater

desk
bookshelf located above desk
chair
desk light
rubbish tidy
key
telephone handset
PC network cable

What to bring?

Students will need to bring the following items with them:

doona (if desired)
small linen basket
towel/s
face washer
coathangers
computer* (if desired)

additional pillow (if required)
washing detergent for personal washing
pegs
bath mat
personal bathroom items
powerboard

Some students bring for their bedrooms TVs, DVDs, music systems and small fans and fridges. However, TVs, VCRs, DVD players and fridges are provided in each common room. Computer access is available for all students of the University 24 hours a day in K Block on campus, a short walk from all of the Colleges.

*Please note that if you wish to connect to the USQ student network for email and Internet access, your PC requires a 10/100 Mb Ethernet card or interface with a RJ45 UTP socket. It is compulsory to have current virus protection software installed (eg McAfee or Norton) and regularly updated.
