Application and fees
Resident accommodation
Accommodation places are offered to students in order of receipt of application. In order to avoid disappointment, apply as early as possible.
All students who seek residency are required to complete the following application procedures:

Offers of accommodation will specify:

Places in Residential Colleges for Semester 1 may be offered as early as December for some students where University enrolment is confirmed by way of early round offers and where students apply early. This may also be the case for international students, mature-age Australian students and some year 12 students, where acceptance into University programs is based on previous deferrals, interview, audition or other selection criteria

The remaining accommodation offers are made to students after the Queensland Tertiary Admissions Centre (QTAC) academic enrolment details are advised to students in January.
Step 3- Acceptance of offer of accommodation
Casual accommodation
Casual accommodation is also available for:

international students attending international orientations

international students enrolled in UNIPREP and ELICOS

residential school students
-
students and staff when casual vacancies arise

student study tours

conference guests
-
students enrolled in Semester 3, and
-
students attending the McGregor Schools held annually in January and July.
