A number of scholarships, bursaries, awards and prizes are available to students who decide to live on-campus.

Annual academic awards and prizes

In March each year at the combined College Welcome Dinner, attended by the Vice-Chancellor and Senior Academic staff, up to 20 prizes and awards are made to residents to recognise their achievements in the previous academic year. This incudes monetary awards and USQ Bookshop vouchers, in excess of AUD7000.

In July  each year Colleges award accommodation reductions to first year residents who perform well academically in semester one. The maximum award per resident is AUD500 and the total value of the awards can be up to AUD10 000.

University wide scholarships

USQ offers a range of scholarships available to students who have demonstrated academic excellence, leadership and participation in the wider community.
