Corporate Sustainability in SMEs
While the significance of SMEs to Australia’s economic growth and productivity is recognised, SMEs have received very limited direct research attention that would help them build efficiency and effectiveness in relation to sustainability issues. The key objective of the ‘Corporate Sustainability in SMEs Cluster’ is to assist Australian SMEs with achieving competitive advantage through implementing and managing environmental sustainability change initiatives, human resource and organisational change initiatives and international business initiatives. Our advice to SMEs is underpinned by a strong research base which focuses on an understanding of the deliberate management of sustainability within SMEs, and achievement of competitive advantage.
