The Australian Centre for Sustainable Catchments (ACSC) focuses on and underpins the profitability and sustainability of agriculture and water resources, underpinned by world leading research in climate science, ecology, remote sensing and geographic information systems.

The Centre has established a 20 year research program so that, by 2025, key world and Australian regions have a thriving economy based on world-leading practices in regional agriculture and catchment management, including the most efficient and sustainable stewardship of our natural resources”.

There are four identified research groups within the ACSC. ACSC members are encouraged to work within one or more of these groups depending on the research expertise and interests of individual and groups of members.
