Adjunct Professors

  • Professor Chris Folland - one of the world’s leading Climate Scientists responsible for the development of global seasonal forecasting systems and verification methods. He is currently a senior scientist at the famous Hadley Centre for Climate Research United Kingdom, and has published over 175 manuscripts.
  • Professor Rob Allan - international renowned Climate Scientist who provided early research into the ENSO. Most recently spearheaded ground breaking research in the development of very long range global data sets. He currently leads the ACRE programme in which scientists and members of the community from many world countries now participate.
  • Professor Richard Price - a leading social scientist based in Canberra, currently Managing Director KIRI-GANAI Pty Ltd. Professor Price has led numerous Agricultural Research programs in Australia including “The Grain and Graze Program” and the establishment of many Rural Development Corporations and many climate variability programs. He also occupies a senior position at the Australian National University. 
  • Professor Gordon Stone -  a Business Strategist and Mentor, Professor Stone is the owner and founder of the Agri-Business Development Institute and provides particular support in strategic development and communication between scientists and farmer users of climate and food technologies. Gordon has particular skills in interpersonal communication, strategic planning, group facilitation, technology transfer, training and project management. He has worked with government, rural industry and private sector organisations, around Australia, in the meat and livestock, grain, fruit and vegetable, irrigation, dairy and SME sectors.
