Kate Reardon-Smith is a post doctoral Research Fellow with the Digital Futures-CRN. She is researching the use of digital technologies in the extension of climate information to enhance climate risk adaptation in agriculture.
Kate has a background in agri-ecological systems research and natural resource management. Her PhD research investigated the ecology of groundwater-dependent riparian woodland ecosystems and interactions with invasive floodplain weeds on the Upper Condamine floodplain, part of the irrigated cropping region of the Darling Downs west of Toowoomba.
