How to nominate

Only applications using Alumni of the Year Awards form will be processed. Please complete the online nomination form and attach the following supporting documentation. Additional information must not exceed five items.

Required documentation 

• Written statements which address award key selection criteria. 
• The nominee’s most recent curriculum vitae.
• Nominee’s portrait (high resolution jpeg, head and shoulders only).

Optional documentation 

• Supporting material – e.g. video, articles, awards, written references, art work etc. 
•  Additional information from the nominee.

Important notes

• Nominations should be prepared with attention to detail, ensuring that all possible information on the nominee is included.
• Nominations should include all relevant experiences since the nominee initially graduated from USQ (or its predecessor institutions).
• The criteria should be addressed under the correct selection criterion (under three separate headings) in no less than two A4 pages.
• If mailing, please do not bind nominations.
• Please address criteria in plain English (except if technical in nature) i.e. no jargon or irrelevant detail.
• Entry into the University of Southern Queensland Alumnus of the Year 2013 implies acceptance of the rules and conditions.
• USQ reserves the right not to make awards for any or all categories in any given year.
