Staff in the Faculty of Arts conduct pure and applied research in a wide range of knowledge areas within the humanities, social sciences and creative arts.
Postgraduate research programs are offered in each of these disciplines. Our students are currently working on projects which explore Australian identities, Australasian pre-history, cultural history, ethnic diasporas, gender and sexuality, indigenous Australia, migration and memory, political activism, public memory, Shakespeare in the world, transnational literature, and trauma and conflict.
