The following prizes and awards are presented at the Annual Awards Ceremony held on the Sunday following graduation each year:

Anthropology Prize for the highest achieving student completing the Anthropology Major

Communication and Media Studies Prize for the highest achieving student completing the Communication and Media Studies Major

German Prizes - Prize books donated by the Consulate-General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Sydney:

History Prize (prize books donated by Associate Professor Peter Wicks) for the highest achieving student completing the History Major.

Honours Thesis Prize for the student who has written the best Honours thesis

Indonesian Prize for the highest achieving student completing the Indonesian Major

International Relations Prize for the highest achieving student completing the International Relations Major

Journalism Prize for the highest achieving student completing the Journalism Major

Mandarin Chinese Prize for the highest achieving student completing the Mandarin Chinese Major.
External Awards

David Kilmartin Literary Award for the English Literature major student in the Bachelor of Arts degree whose academic achievement over the program has been of the highest order.

German Scholarship - The Friends of the Goethe-Institut, Geottingen, fund a half scholarship for a nominated student of German from USQ to attend a two-month language course at the GI, Goettingen

Jessie Mary Vasey (War Widow's Guild) Memorial Prize for the best woman graduate in the English Literature major of the Bachelor of Arts degree.

Keith Willey Award for the continuing full-time Journalism major student who achieves the highest academic standard in the first and second years.

Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) Prize for the best graduating full-time Public Relations major student.
