My name is Leonie Jones. I’m a Lecturer and Discipline Coordinator for Creative Media.

Creative Media is a production based major which helps you develop your own screen media practice. Whether you want to be a writer, producer, director, animator, cinematographer or new media designer, our graduates are independent screen media artists who create with new media.

The Creative Media team are all industry practitioners with expertise in animation, screen writing, documentary film making, short film production, television studio production, location production and multi-platform delivery systems.

We teach in three studios: the television studio, sound studios and design and animation studios and we are always out on location. You will work with actors, musicians and visual artists.

Over three years, we encourage students to experiment, test their own media artforms. You will work and learn by doing work in group and independent productions.

Creative Media is a 16 credit point major in the Bachelor of Creative Arts. You can find the Creative Media team in A Block.
