New Holland Trio
Exiting new international ensemble, the New Holland Trio visit Toowoomba during their 2009 Australian tour.
The trio features three outstanding young musicians; Australian pianist, Jayson Gillham and Dutch players, Adriane Tilanus (violin) and Jurrian van der Zanden (cello).
Each are award-winning musicians, with a string of international performances and awards to their name.
A graduate and medallist of the Queensland Conservatorium and the London Royal Academy of Music, Jayson won the 2008 Prix d'AmadèO de Piano (Germany) and the Australian National Piano Award. Adriane and Jurrian are graduates of the Conservatory of Amsterdam and Utrecht Conservatory respectively and Fellows at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Adriane appears regularly with the Amsterdam Sinfonietta, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Mahler Chamber Orchestra and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and Jurrian has toured extensively in North America, South America and Europe.
The trio will perform Tchaikovsky's Piano Trio in A minor, Op 50.
