Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship Concert

Join us as the applicants for the 2012 Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship vie for a $20 000 ‘passport’ to further their music performance studies overseas:

Noralyn Jowett (piano),
Raquelle Pedler (voice), and
Shannon Laundon (piano).

Celebrating 15 years since the inception of the Joyce Campbell Lloyd Scholarship, established as a result of a generous donation by Toowoomba resident and music lover, the late Mrs Joyce Lloyd (1916-2004), with funds from her Campbell family inheritance, this year’s concert, featuring performances by the applicants and guest artists, is not to be missed.

Guest performers will include 2011 scholarship recipient, Maree Kilpatrick (piano) and back by popular demand following their sell-out performance in May the Duelling Divas - Melissa Forbes (vocals) Melinda van der Meulen (soprano) and Alison Riethmuller (piano/vocals).

The evening will conclude with the announcement of the winner and will be followed by a reception in Arts Gallery.
