1200 Degrees of Separation

Work by Lynette LarsonCurated by Alexis Tacey

This exhibition explores the various uses of both traditional and contemporary ceramic materials such as stoneware, hand-built clay work and the more recent innovation of Keraflex fine porcelain sheets.

Ceramics are used for a variety of purposes in the industrial world such as insulators for electricity transmission and even by NASA for tiles fixed to the outside of space shuttles. However, in contrast, the unique nature of the handmade ceramic is the emphasis of this exhibition.

The exhibition includes recent work by current USQ Ceramic students.
