The creation and presentation of live theatre in the outdoors brings specific aesthetic considerations which also embrace the natural environment and yet stand out from it.
These unique qualities attract social, unrestrained audiences and yet engage them in the works onstage.
This exhibition explores the relationship between staged theatre and open spaces, spectatorship and engagement, old texts and contemporary life specific to the USQ Shakespeare in the Park Festival 2004-2013.
