TGWSBT was fortunate enough to be able to attend the evening performance of USQ Artsworx's 'A Toby Show' on 9 May. USQ performers can be justifiably proud of their polished performance of this 2012 USQ Children’s Theatre Week production. A very talented cast entertained the young and young at heart from start to finish and literally had the entire audience eating out of their hand. I applaud the entire cast and can’t wait for the next production. Clare Parry, Toowoomba, 18/05/12
My son (who has a disability) and his carer attended this show last week. As Joel is in a wheelchair it is often difficult to meet his needs but the ushers at the event were very considerate and made sure his needs were met. Both he and the carer enjoyed the show very much and commented on the high quality of all aspects of the show – from music, to costumes, to performances. Another carer and her family attended on the weekend and also commented on what a great show it was. Accolades to both support staff and actors! Coralie Graham, Toowoomba, 18/05/12
Last month I had the great pleasure of representing the Premier by attending the opening night of the play Spirits in Bare Feet at the University of Southern Queensland ... I congratulate everyone involved in the creation of the ... play and the accompanying exhibition ... Kerry Shine MP, Queensland Parliament, 17 June 2009
The Glennie Year 2 class really loved the Spirits in Bare Feet experience ... the children had a fantastic time and for many of the students this was their first full artistic experience ... many thanks for presenting a festival that gave the children such a great opportunity to participate in a rich variety of relevant artistic experiences. Looking forward to next year! Anne & Robert Watson, The Glennie School, 16 June 2009
