The Crucible
As a tribute to Arthur Miller, who pass away earlier this year, the USQ Performance Centre will stage The Crucible in the Arts Theatre, as part of its season of classical plays.
Arthur Miller's The Crucible, is rightly regarded as one of the most significant plays of the last century. Often held up as an example of the very best in dramatic writing the themes of injustice and conspiracy are as fresh as when the play was first performed fifty years ago.
These teachers notes are a guide for you to better explain to your students the content, themes, characters and the play in performance. There are also activities for your class to complete.
