Five Women Wearing the Same Dress

The USQ Performance Centre's production of Five Women Wearing the Same Dress by Alan Ball is the third play in our 2003 season and features the final year Acting students of the Department of Theatre, USQ.

Five Women Wearing the Same Dress is a deliciously dark comedy that takes us into the world of five very different women at the reception of a wedding. What is it they have in common? More than you would imagine! Throughout the course of the reception, these women discover self-truths that bring them closer together. It's not that they find out that they share the same likes and dislikes, but something a little more substantial – they are all women, striving to be one thing: themselves. And learning to love yourself is not the easiest task in the world.
