Public Law and Policy

This research concentration focuses on issues of public law and policy, including constitutional law, human rights law, privacy law, administrative law, criminal law and law reform. Examples of current research and areas of interest include privacy law reforms, government use of technology, the efficacy of a Bill or Charter of Rights, freedom of association, freedom of religion and due process rights, the role of juries in the criminal justice system, civil/military relations in particular military discipline and relevant jurisprudence, electoral law and the constitutionality of the proposed emissions trading scheme.
