School of Information Systems

Welcome to Information Systems at USQ

Our information systems programs cater for students with a range of backgrounds and experience. There are majors in the Bachelor of Information Technology  in information technology management  and information systems development. The information management major may also be undertaken in the Bachelor of Business or the Bachelor of Commerce.  Indeed, in a recent national report it is clear from employers that they favour IT graduates with business studies or experience.

As well as USQ-wide scholarships, there are:

For students with a degree there is also a Master of Information Systems which is usually taken by students who have a degree in an area other than information technology or information systems.

All these programs have professional accreditation with the Australian Computer Society.

We are aware of the many commitments students have so our courses are available by face-to-face on-campus teaching and by distance education with a variety of study materials and using innovative technologies.
