Economics is the study of how individuals and groups choose among their available resources to satisfy their wants and needs.

Programs

USQ's Faculty of Business and Law offers a variety of programs and courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

An undergraduate study of economics is available through our Bachelor of Commerce, and is designed to give a basis on economic theory and its application in the development of business and economic policy, as well as to develop business skills in critical thinking and quantitative analysis.

Career opportunities

A study in economics offers a wide variety of career opportunities including business analyst, market researcher and economic forecasting. The University also provides advice on job searching and career planning for students who are looking for a job in their field.
