The Australian Marketing Institute

The Australian Marketing Institute has almost 5,000 members Australia-wide. It is a body of marketing professionals comprised of both practitioners and academics. It offers a professional grading system based upon qualifications and experience. The Australian Marketing Institute has now adopted the magazine Marketing as its official journal. This journal provides useful Australian case material and articles which are generally relevant to all courses studied. It is strongly recommended that students in Marketing subscribe to this journal. The Institute organises a variety of activities for members, including services, workshops, luncheons, and Marketing Week. It also has a Marketing Educator's Chapter specifically to cater for the interests of Marketing academics.

Australian Institute of Management

The Australian Institute of Management is the largest professional body for managers and facilitates management and leadership excellence by promoting, supporting and developing the profession of management in all forms. AIM provides training and consultancy services and is a source of applied management information through a national network of bookshops and library facilities.  AIM has five state divisions covering the whole of Australia and, within those state divisions, have regional offices.
