Research degrees

Postgraduate students are invited to join the Faculty of Business to complete research degrees.

Publications

Faculty of Business staff continue to produce a high volume of research output. The data on this research output are collected for internal purposes including publication in the USQ Annual Report, and also for external reporting to DEST (Commonwealth Department of Education, Science and Training).

Faculty of Business staff research interests

The research expertise of all the Faculty of Business staff spans a variety of specialties that are summarised in the academic staff directory. Of particular interest to research students is a list of potential PhD supervisors within the faculty and possible topic areas for PhD and DBA students.

The Information Systems Research and Higher Degrees Committee allows staff to actively participate in research development.

Policies and procedures

Students and staff involved associated with research are required to follow the Faculty's code of good practice (PDF* 46 kb). The code outlines the responsibilities of all those involved with research. Students and staff should familiarise themselves with this document.
