Aaron Smith - Bachelor of Business (Business Law major)
USQ's flexibility allowed me to easily follow my interests as they changed. I started as a combined Business/Engineering student, but soon discovered that Business Law was my thing. Studying via distance education whilst working seven days a week was quite a challenge, however the flexibility provided at USQ to balance work and study, along with comprehensive study materials and supportive, prepared and accessible staff were crucial to my success.
At the Faculty of Business I found I wasn't 'just a number' but a valued person. I am now employed full-time as a solicitor. Compared to other universities, I believe USQ is the leading distance education provider, and I proved my confidence by enrolling again to study a postgraduate accounting degree!
