About us
The Centre for Australian Indigenous Knowledges is located at USQ's Toowoomba Campus. The main purpose of the centre is to encourage and assist the further education of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
The aims and objectives of the Centre for Australian Indigenous Knowledges are to:

actively support a network of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking tertiary studies at the preparatory, undergraduate and/or postgraduate level;

promote Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and assist communities to develop their economic and cultural independence through research and consultancy projects;

act as an advocate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students when meeting educational, social, economic and cultural difficulties in a tertiary institution; and
-
undertake research and consultancy projects that will address education and other issues that affect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at all levels.
