Room numbering and naming conventions

Room numbers have the building identification first followed by the floor and then by the individual room number eg A223 is in Building A, second floor, room 23. A map of each floor will be provided at the lift entrance.

The room numbering protocol can be a bit confusing as it is often not sequential from the perspective of the corridor. The rooms commonly accessed by students will be given a more descriptive name eg Lecture Room One – A5 is the closest lecture room to the lifts in building A on level five. These names will be clearly displayed in the hallway. All commonly accessed rooms also have Braille signage.
