Security Patrols

Trained and experienced security guards patrol the Toowoomba campus 24 hours a day seven days a week and are responsible for the opening and closing of buildings and the reporting of any incidents.

Regular unpatterned foot and mobile patrols of administration and teaching buildings as well as car parks and Residential Colleges are conducted from the Security Office. Security personnel are authorised to detain persons found to be committing an offence and contact the police if necessary.

Wide Bay Property Protection carries out after hours patrols and conducts random internal checks at the Fraser Coast campus. Security personnel can be contacted from any telephone across the campus, including the library lab, by phoning extension 8100.
