Fuel

A Caltex fuel card is located in the vehicle and can be used at most Caltex service stations for the purchase of fuel. Provide the service station with the Caltex card and the odometer reading. All fuel dockets are to be left in the vehicle.

The USQ pool vehicle fleet consists of Hyundai i30 sedans and Ford Falcon station wagons. The Hyundai i30 vehicles are diesel only and are deceptively nimble which does lead to some users forgetting they are driving a diesel powered vehicle! Anti misfuel devices are fitted but are not infallible, so please remember this when refuelling. The Ford Falcons are petrol only.

Only regular diesel, regular unleaded or Ethanol-blend petrol can be purchased with Caltex cards. Transactions will be declined if the wrong fuel type (i.e unleaded instead of diesel) or Vortex-branded petrol is put into the vehicle and the driver requested to cover the cost.
