Marine biologists study all forms of life and monitor environmental factors in oceans, rivers and lakes. A Nanny will care for babies or young children by washing, feeding, dressing and playing with them. Nurses provide care and support for patients who are sick or injured. Optometrists perform eye exams to diagnose eye and vision problems for children and adults. Police Officers protect the community from crime, apprehend law breakers and help those in need of assistance. Real Estate salespeople arrange the sale of houses, businesses, factories, shops and farms. Sports Coaches teach individuals and teams how to improve their sports skills and instructs them in their performances. Teachers educate children by planning lessons and instructing them. Nannies keep the children in their care safe and organise and supervise outings for them. Nurses prepare patients for surgery, will help in emergency situations and may work day or night. An Optometrist will prescribe glasses, contact lenses, therapy or medication to help fix problems with eyes and vision. A Police Officer will investigate crimes and guard prisoners, as well as attend special events (like football games) to control large crowds. A Real Estate salesperson will take buyers to look at properties and arrange legal documents for the sale. A Sports Coach will plan training programs and practice sessions and travel with teams and individuals to event. Teachers can teach in primary or secondary school and can specialise in a lot of areas (maths, science, english, technology, creative arts, history, music, sport). A vet will operate on a sick animal and give advice on feeding and looking after animals. Some vets specialise in certain animals (large or small animals, marine animals, wild animals). A Web Designer will talk with their client to find out what the client wants in their website and develop the website content and layout. A Youth Worker will provide support and advice to a young person and help with counselling, food, shelter or clothing. A Zoo Keeper will bathe and groom animals, clean out their enclosures and provide information to the public on the animals. |
