  • Advanced Design Practice using Finite Element Analysis

The above courses could be tailored as short courses to meet specific industry demand. For further details contact Prof Thiru Aravinthan.

Workshops

CEEFC conducts seminars, workshops and roadshows from time to time. The international workshop on Fibre Composites in Civil Infrastructure - Past, Present & Future was held on 1-2 December 2008 at USQ. A three-day Fibre Composites in Civil Infrastructure (FCCI) Road Show in Japan was held in Saitama, Tokyo and Tsukuba on 14-16 December 2009. Also, a Technical Workshop on Market Opportunities for Novel Engineered Fibre Composites was held on 18 November 2010 at USQ.

An international workshop entitled “Engaging Young Engineers and Scientist in FRP Research” will be held in Seoul, South Korea from 28-31 January 2013. This joint activity is organised by the CEEFC in collaboration with Kookmin and Hanyang universities. Engaging Young Engineers and Scientists in FRP Research is supported by the Australian Government through the Australia-Korea Foundation of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
