USQ Teaching Academy CoP

Professor Lynne Hunt and Professor Bill Lovegrove launch the USQ Teaching Academy

The academy was launched in September 2008. The Teaching Academy CoP first met in November that year. Members are from the USQ Teaching Academy.

What is the focus?

To facilitate the study of learning and teaching, enhance university-wide participation in learning initiatives and providing opportunities for international networking and community engagement.

What is the role?

The CoP members will build a community to share practice and build knowledge around learning and teaching by engaging with the Academy goals of:

• acknowledging good practice
• profiling USQ success in learning and teaching
• facilitating learning and teaching scholarship
• collegiality and knowledge sharing
• providing leadership opportunities
• engaging in ongoing professional learning and reflective practice
• enhancing university wide participation in learning and teaching initiatives
• providing opportunities for international networking and community engagement.
