1. Introduction.

1.1 These Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time, govern all aspects of the USQ Corporate Club. In the event of conflict with the USQ Act (available at www.usq.edu.au) the Act shall prevail.

1.2 These Terms and Conditions are effective as at the date of the Agreement, and may be amended from time to time. A signed copy of the agreement will be provided to the member organisation and one copy will be kept within the Marketing & Public Relations Department.

1.3 Every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided in relation to the USQ Corporate Club is correct. However, to the extent permitted by law, USQ accepts no responsibility for inaccuracy or misdescription.

2. Types of Membership

2.1 Membership is open to companies, corporations and businesses, charitable and not for profit organisations.

3. Membership

3.1 Membership is not refundable and unless specified in this Agreement, is not transferable.

3.2 A requirement of membership is that the member pays the annual fee.

3.3 Upon acceptance of a membership application by USQ and the payment of required Membership fees, the Member will be issued with an ID number. The Member is required to pay the Membership Fees by way of single instalment to USQ within 14 days of USQ notifying the Member of acceptance of an application.

4. Term

4.1 The Term of the membership is 12 months from date of receipt of the Membership Fee by USQ.

5. Use of Information

5.1 It is a condition of membership that you consent and authorise USQ to use and disclose relevant information you provide on this Membership Form, and other information you provide to USQ for the purposes of: (1) USQ providing services to you under this Membership agreement, (2) USQ improving our service to Members, including by means of research, marketing, product development and planning.

5.2 USQ will provide Members with access to their personal information held by USQ on request by you, to the extent permitted by law.

6. Changes to Rules

6.1 USQ reserves the right at all times to vary the USQ Corporate Club rules, terms and conditions and benefits offered at any time.

7. Use of Benefits

7.1 USQ expressly reserves the right in its absolute discretion to withdraw, cancel, withhold, deny access to or use of, or in any way change the Membership Fee or any of the benefits previously advertised or offered generally or to any member at any time, and USQ will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Member resulting from such withdrawal, cancellation, variation or change.

7.2 Some of the benefits which are offered to the Member are provided by suppliers over which USQ has no control. Arrangements for the availability and utilisation of the benefits so offered are made by USQ solely as agents for the suppliers providing such benefits. The provision of the benefits will be subject, in each case, to the terms and conditions of the suppliers providing such benefits and any claims relating to the supply of benefits should be made to the supplier.

7.3 Wherever benefits are made available to the Member as a result of membership, whether these are provided by USQ or through a supplier, the Member will be liable for all costs, charges, taxes, claims or other liability of whatever nature and howsoever arising from or incurred in connection with obtaining or utilising the benefits.

8. Termination

8.1 Any breach of these terms and conditions by the member, whether intentional or otherwise, may result in the termination of membership or cancellation of benefits or both, at the sole discretion of USQ.

9. Governing Laws

9.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, irrespective of where the membership application has been completed or submitted to USQ.
