Newsfile

• For your Newsfile I expect you to complete a for all the newspaper cuttings on environmental issues from 3 papers – one local, one state, and one national, every week,  This does not mean, only articles labeled by the media as ‘environmental’ stories.  Petrol prices, road works, or shopping and housing developments rarely get labeled as ‘environmental’, nevertheless they have environmental implications. You need to base your selection on your reading in the unit to decide what is ‘environmental’, and what is not.  
• Including commentary on your entries, or on wider reading you have done, or TV programmes you have seen, will get you extra credit, as will including articles from more than the minimum newspapers required. 80% of your grade for your Newsfile will be for how extensive your list articles is, and 20% will be for your commentary.
