The purpose of the site is to:

  • define and explain market segmentation;

  • explain the steps in the market segmentation, target marketing and positioning process; and

  • provide an opportunity for you to apply the market segmentation process to 'real-world' marketing problems through integrated activities and formal assessment.

If you can find time, you are encouraged to complete the activities that have been provided on this site.  These activities have been designed to allow you to apply the theory and principles of market segmentation to 'real' world marketing problems.
