(ii) the systems which underlie each of these facets, and
(iii) the relationship between each facet and the social and cultural context in which it is embedded.
Synopsis
Students will be introduced to the main characteristics of syntax, phonology and other facets of language, the systems which underlie each of these facets, and the relationship between each one and the social and cultural context in which it is embedded. NOTE: Minimum enrolment numbers apply to this offering. Should enrolments not reach the minimum number required for on-campus study, students may be transferred to the ONLINE offering and advised of this change before semester commences.
