This course aims to provide students with a solid background in program design and development. Students are exposed to a variety of non-programming language specific design tools as the means to instil skills in problem-solving and algorithm construction. It lays a strong foundation in modular programming and also introduces students to some introductory object-orientation concepts. VB.Net is used as a tool to implement these program designs in both the console and Windows environments.
