VIS2022 Studio Project 1 (FOART)

Units 1.0 (Visual Arts and Crafts) Band 1

Pre-requisite: VIS1001 and Students must be enrolled in Program: BVAR

Synopsis

This course offers an extension to the workshops undertaken in VIS2002 Visual Arts Practice 1. The student will undertake project work set by each of the three studio lecturers with whom he/she is studying in order to further extend his/her skills and conceptual processes in these disciplines. These projects will be addressed concurrently throughout the semester with the student presenting for regular critiques of work in progress. This is the first of a sequence of courses presenting students with opportunities for specialized, in depth studio practice, related research projects and/or Gallery Studies.
