Synopsis
This course is framed by Peter Senge's idea of the learning organization and notions of discontinuity as described by Limerick, Cunnington and Crowther (1998) as a condition of postmodernity. The course will look at various leadership models and encourage students to assess their own work place in light of these models. Subsequent to this, contemporary issues in physical and health education will be superimposed and students will be asked to makes judgments about the potential for meaningful change and contemporary forms of subject leadership within their work place.
