Synopsis

Students will have opportunities to develop and extend existing knowledge in the use of ICTs within an educational setting. Emphasis will be placed upon exploring integration of ICT resources to enhance teaching and learning. Students will become familiar with methods for the evaluation, selection, acquisition and deployment of ICT resources. Current development in ICTs and their implications for education will be considered, together with approaches to the design and implementation of ongoing professional development in the educational use of ICTs.
