Synopsis

This course introduces students to a range of factors that currently influence the design, delivery, and management of learning in post-compulsory education, training, community and workplace contexts. In particular this course focuses on the evolving National Training Agenda, its application and implications for vocational education and training. It also focuses on current trends within adult and community education programs and the workplace as an emerging site for individual and organisational learning. This course will require students to analyse their own instructional context in light of the factors and agendas identified within the course.
