Synopsis

This course has been designed to enhance and build upon the general discipline knowledge gained in graduate business studies. It is about how the external environment affects business and how businesses respond to the external pressures. It also equips DBA students to build a basis of advanced theory to undertake a comprehensive piece of management-related research. The course combines appropriate theoretical issues with related applications in practice. The structure of the course provides a sound core of macro-environment combined with the opportunity to explore selected specialised areas in greater depth.
