Synopsis

This course continues the study of, and practice in set design. Students will investigate the practical problems of design, the function of design components, the researching of design. Art direction and its perspectives become integral to the student's thinking, in the presentation of models and design concepts. Basic computer imaging to assist the design process, electronic image manipulation and practice in creating and rendering conceptual sketches. Introduction to design for the screen.
