Synopsis

This course provides pre-service early childhood teachers with opportunities to apply their knowledge of teaching and learning in the early years of school. Students will be required to develop, implement and evaluate a range of learning and teaching opportunities. Capitalising on their scholarship, students will put into practice a range of experiences based upon theories developed during their study program. Students will examine their own ideas in order to appreciate the complexities of management, organisation and teaching in the early years' classroom. NOTE: Minimum enrolment numbers apply to this offering. Should enrolments not reach the minimum number required for on-campus study, students may be transferred to the EXT or WEB offering and advised of this change before semester commences.
